The Piece of the Month

With a view to improving the dissemination of knowledge of a cultural and artistic nature, the Educational Service of Quinta das Cruzes Museum carries out the activity – The Piece of the Month.
In this project it is intended to highlight a piece representing the various clusters which are on display in the Museum operating on two fronts: historic and teaching.
By highlighting a piece for a month by analysing its specific characteristics, it is intended to disclose new forms of looking at objects, reflecting about working materials and techniques, raising awareness about a new approach which establishes a better understanding with the students.
